About Me
Jaquelyn Johnson, CLC
(she/her)
Before I was even pregnant with my eldest child, I knew I wanted to breastfeed. Throughout our journey, I learned there was so much I didn’t know. So much that felt like it should have come naturally but because I didn’t grow up seeing people nursing their babies all around me, I had to learn it all at once when I was right in the thick of it. I discovered there is unfortunately a great deal of misinformation (much of it well-intentioned!) out there about breastfeeding and chestfeeding. I developed a love for learning about lactation and I am passionate about sharing the essential knowledge I’ve gained to help others.
Today, as a Certified Lactation Counselor, I am dedicated to sharing evidence-based information and compassionate guidance with families. My goal is to help you prevent avoidable challenges, work through the tough moments, and empower you to meet your feeding goals. I’m here to support you every step of the way!
